The new NEPSAC Class AAA brings together seven of the top girls basketball programs in New England.
Though the class is small, the talent pool is massive. Three of our preseason All-New England picks are also on this team. Filling those last two spots was a challenge, and even the honorable mention names represent a host of prep school standouts.
One theme with this team: versatility. Four of our five selections are wings or forwards, and though we do not have a true center here, they could easily occupy a post player role. We also have two pairs from the same school, highlighting how much star power these rosters can wield.
Let’s get to the team.

Christina Pham, Nobles
Class of 2025, 5-7 guard
Hometown: South Boston, Mass.
Arguably the best shooter in the region, Pham is simply ridiculous hitting 3s in all fashions. She’s also become a dangerous all-around scorer with a tight handle and toughness finishing at the rim. Nobles will need to lean on its 5-foot-7 point guard more this season, which means Pham, a Fairfield commit, will give us plenty of highlights.
WHY FAIRFIELD:Â Here's what led Pham to choosing the Stags
Ava Black, Tabor
Class of 2025, 5-10 wing
Hometown: Auburn, N.H.
Black did not play last season as she recovered from surgery on a PCL injury. But the Vanderbilt commit was widely regarded as one of New England’s top prospects prior to injury and is hungry to remind people why. Black landed on the NEPSAC All-Class AA team as a sophomore because of her two-way versatility. A healthy Ava Black might be the most impactful addition for any NEPSAC rotation.

Colleen Phiri, Tilton
Class of 2025, 5-11 wing
Hometown: Haverhill, Mass.
Phiri, one of our preseason All-New England members, was the second-leading scorer on Tilton last winter behind superstar Ahnay Adams. Adams is now at Miami, meaning Phiri will have a lot more on her plate to create for herself and others. Her buckets come much differently — more catch-and-shoot 3s and strong moves out of the post — but like Adams, she’ll be a must-watch player.
RELOADING RAMS: What to expect from Tilton in 2024-25
Jasmyn Cooper, Nobles
Class of 2025, 6-1 forward
Hometown: Easton, Mass.
Cooper’s lasting impression on me from last season, aside from her versatile scoring and playmaking, was that she proved she can defend the entire opposing lineup. At 6-foot-1, she’s big and strong enough to guard post players. But in Nobles’ Class AA title run, she took on elite point guards Orlagh Gormley and Ahnay Adams in back-to-back days and fared as well as the team could’ve asked. It’s a luxury to have a star who can fill so many different needs.
TITLE DEFENSE:Â Here's how Nobles is approaching its three-peat attempt this winter
Kaelyn Carroll, Tabor
Class of 2025, 6-2 forward
Hometown: Dedham, Mass.
Carroll’s prospect status has been known since she was receiving scholarship offers in middle school. But the preseason All-New Englander couldn’t show her skills during parts of last season as she overcame an early ankle injury and a late concussion. In addition to her shooting and scoring prowess, Carroll has become a prolific shot-blocker and plays much better through contact. She hopes to lead Tabor to the first girls' NEPSAC AAA crown.
STAR STATUS: How Carroll became New England's top 2025 prospect
Honorable mention: Ella Peper (Dexter Southfield), Maysen Hill (St. Andrew’s), Elyse Ngenda (New Hampton), Ashley Dinges (Nobles), Olivia Rodrigues (Tabor), Carolina Williams (Hoosac)
