Over three days this weekend, from March 13-15, 10 state champions will be crowned – five each for boys and girls – at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Mass.
The action starts with Friday night's doubleheader featuring both St. Mary's girls and boys teams. The Medfield girls will seek their third consecutive Division 2 championship to open slate against defending D3 champion St. Mary's, which is in its first D2 season.
Four teams — the Wachusett girls in D1, St. Mary's girls and Medfield girls, and Georgetown boys in D4 — are seeking repeat championships. The slate also includes three 1-vs.-2 showdowns.
