The most impactful matchups of the past week in NEPSAC girls basketball brought out the best from several of our region's stars.
We have quite a few familiar names on this week's list of standouts, including one 2027 guard who just announced her Div. 1 commitment. But there's also one 2026 top prospect who's reminding folks why she's such a dominant forward.
Coaches and players are welcome to submit nominations by emailing Ethan Fuller at ethan.fuller@basketballjournal.com or by messaging him on Twitter/X (@ethman43).
Here are this week’s stars from Feb. 9-15.
Ava Ayotte, Mount St. Charles

Hometown: Burrillville, R.I.
Ayotte laid down another microwave scoring performance, racking up 32 points (with six 3s), seven rebounds and three steals to help Mount St. Charles prevail over Kents Hill, 81-48.
Maddie Benigni, Hamden Hall

Hometown: East Hampton, Conn.
NCAA: Quinnipiac
This was a milestone week for the star point guard. Not only did Benigni announce her Division 1 commitment to Quinnipiac, but she also erupted for a school-record 38 points in Friday's massive victory against Wilbraham & Monson. Benigni also tallied 25 points and five assists in a win against St. Luke's.
Molly Corcoran, Tabor

Hometown: Medford, Mass.
NCAA: Colgate
Corcoran was the engine in Tabor's statement road win Friday against Tilton, firing in a team-high 26 points.
Chloe Egan, Berkshire

Class of 2026, 5-11 guard
Hometown: Cotuit, Mass.
NCAA: Hamilton
Egan tallied 19 points against Choate and then caught fire for 33 points against Miss Porter's, powering Berkshire two two victories.
Carolyn Joo, King

Class of 2028, 5-7 guard
Hometown: Ridgefield, Conn.
The latest big stat lines from Joo's sophomore season include two 28-point outings in a win against Watkinson and a loss to Greenwich Country Day. In the latter contest vs. GCDS, Joo cleared 1,000 career points.
Gianna Nichols, St. George’s

Class of 2026, 5-7 guard
Hometown: Sturbridge, Mass.
NCAA: Le Moyne
Nichols took her game to even greater heights last week, posting a career-high 33 points with six rebounds in Friday's 60-56 road victory against Dexter Southfield.
Caterina Ravosa, Wilbraham & Monson

Class of 2026, 6-2 forward
Hometown: East Longmeadow, Mass.
NCAA: Fairfield
We had yet to see Ravosa at the height of her star power as she worked her way to full strength from injury. But the standout forward showed she's back and led the Titans to a home takedown of then-No. 1 Tilton, amassing 32 points and 11 rebounds.
