As we approach February vacation, we have a mix of new members and familiar faces in the latest MIAA girls Stars of the Week.
With the unusual game schedules over break, this weekly roundup will take a week off. We'll then have one last batch of standouts before the MIAA postseason.

Alyssa Daniels, Dighton-Rehoboth
Class of 2029, guard/forward
The freshman logged a 30-point breakout game on Friday, leading the Falcons in a 67-46 victory over West Bridgewater.
Ariana Demetri, North Reading
Class of 2027, 5-7 guard
Demetri started off a 3-0 week by scoring 24 points and leading North Reading in a 49-48 overtime triumph against Oakmont. She then added 22 points against Triton and 17 points against Lynnfield.
Angie Djoko, Danvers

NCAA: Trinity
Djoko continues to pile up big double-doubles. She averaged 20.3 points and 14.7 rebounds across three wins over Saugus, Hamilton-Wenham and Masconomet. Djoko also swiped six and seven steals, respectively, against Saugus and Hamilton-Wenham.
Dylan Hurley, Whitman-Hanson
Class of 2026, 5-6 guard
NCAA: St. Anselm
Hurley appears on the list for a second straight week following two more big games: 27 points against Plymouth North and 24 points vs. Marshfield.
Emma Jolley, Fontbonne
Class of 2026, forward
Jolley stuffed the stat sheet in Tuesday's 52-44 win against Ursuline, compiling 18 points, 21 rebounds and seven blocks.
Alana McNamara, Archbishop Williams

McNamara popped off for a career-high 35 points on Tuesday, powering the Bishops in a 75-45 win over New Hampshire power Bishop Guertin.
Lily Oliver, Manchester Essex
Class of 2026, 5-5 guard
NCAA: Roanoke
Oliver drained five 3-pointers in consecutive games, leading the Hornets with 24-point and 25-point outings against Wilmington and Saugus. She also contributed 19 points against Georgetown to complete the 3-0 week.
Elle Orlando, Notre Dame (Hingham)

Hometown: Westwood, Mass.
NCAA: Bentley
Orlando kept up her recent torrid stretch with 34 points against Scituate followed by 28 points, five steals and four assists against Dover-Sherborn.
Adrianna Porazzo, Foxboro

NCAA: Western New England
Porazzo started the week with a pair of 16-point games against Oliver Ames and Milford. She then erupted for 36 points to help the undefeated Warriors clinch the Hockomock League Davenport division title against Stoughton.
Nikki Rao, Newton North
Class of 2026, guard/forward
NCAA: MIT
Rao was the engine in Newton North's big 67-63 win against Bay State Conference rival Natick, tossing in 27 points.
Nora Simpson, Arlington Catholic
Class of 2026, 5-5 guard
NCAA: Brandeis
Simpson's 1,000-point milestone came with a signature performance: a career-high 29 points, plus 10 assists, in a 72-20 win over Lowell Catholic on Tuesday.
Avery Terry, Acton-Boxboro
Class of 2029, guard/forward
Terry gave a freshman breakout performance of her own with 30 points Sunday, helping Acton-Boxboro beat Newton North, 69-47.
Muji Vader, Minuteman

The undefeated Revolution continue to be guided by Vader, who averaged 26 points across three wins against Notre Dame (Tyngsborough), Northeast and KIPP.
Denai Williams, Natick

Williams collected 14 points, seven assists and seven rebounds in a win over Brookline, then notched a career-high 31 points in Natick's loss to Newton North.
