We’re starting to see some familiar names gracing our weekly stars list, but there are some new fresh faces, too.
This week’s stars include one player who made program history with another big scoring performance, and there were multiple buzzer-beater heroics.

Matt Leichtman, Sharon
Class of 2028, 6-3 guard
Leichtman scored 16 points, including a buzzer-beating 3-pointer as time expired to lift Sharon to a dramatic 75-72 victory over Taunton on Friday.
Javi Lopez, Central Catholic
Class of 2026, 6-1 guard
Lopez became Central Catholic's all-time leading scorer in the second quarter of the Raiders’ win over BC High on Sunday. He finished with 33 points in the victory, putting him at the top of the list with 1,505 career points and counting. He surpassed Tyler Nelson, who went on to become Fairfield’s all-time leading scorer.
Nyisah Miranda, Brockton
Class of 2027, 5-11 guard
Miranda hit one of the most memorable shots of the season in Brockton’s victory over Arlington on Sunday. The Boxers trailed by three with 1.6 seconds remaining, and after Arlington missed a free throw that would have put them up four and sealed the game, Miranda corralled the rebound and hurled a ¾-court prayer that banked in. It caused a wild celebration and sent the game to overtime, where Brockton prevailed for a 65-59 win. Miranda finished with 15 points.
