The first NEPSAC Scholastic Showcase is still a month away, but it’s not too early to look ahead.
Annually one of the biggest prep events of the year, each of this year’s two NEPSAC Scholastic Showcases will take place at Worcester Academy. The first one comes June 12-14, with the second showcase coming two weeks later from June 26-28. Both weekends come during live periods, which allow Div. 1 coaches to watch and evaluate in person.
The June NEPSAC showcases are also valuable because they gives teams their first opportunity to play together ahead of the 2026-27 season. As usual, there will be dozens of newcomers lining the courts at Worcester Academy. Many are coming from the MIAA, CIAC and other state associations as they pursue their basketball dreams by joining the highest level of prep basketball the region can offer.
Full team rosters and schedules for the showcases are not yet available, and there will likely be some additions in the coming weeks. But we already have a good idea of many of the new faces playing in NEPSAC boys basketball next season. Here’s a snapshot of 15 guards set to make their debut at next month’s showcases.
