We're approaching the end of September, and by now, many of the top players in the New England 2025 class have made their college decisions.
Most recently, Natalia Hall-Rosa took her name off the board by committing to Seton Hall. Hall-Rosa (Randolph, Mass.) is one of six players on our 2025 watch list to announce her next chapter.
Colleges continue to build out their recruiting classes and scholarship slots are dwindling. But there's still plenty of time — the first day players can officially sign a National Letter of Intent isn't until Nov. 13.
Below are eight big names, plus five honorable mentions, who remain uncommitted. Their college destinations range from high-major Division 1 powerhouses to quality mid-majors or top Div. 2 and 3 programs. Regardless, we'll be keeping an eye out for when and where they commit.
Hijjah Allen-Paisley
Cathedral/Boston Showstoppers, 5-5 guard
Hometown: Boston, Mass.
Allen-Paisley has picked up four Division 1 offers from Siena, UNH, Central Connecticut State and Coppin State, and has recently been receiving Div. 2 interest. She's not a stat-stuffer, but Allen-Paisley's skills and winning impact speak for themselves. She's led Cathedral on back-to-back state championship runs because of her perimeter marksmanship, calm decision-making and quickness on defense. Allen-Paisley is undersized, but over time, she's learned how to create contact and find space for herself — something I noticed on the AAU circuit in early summer. She's a college-bound player because of her court awareness and patience.
Jasmine Becotte
Lawrence Academy/MCW Starz, 5-10 guard
Hometown: Pelham, N.H.
Becotte earned Class B All-NEPSAC status by averaging 19.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.1 steals last season. She drilled an impressive 38.7 percent of her threes and demonstrated confidence shooting off the catch and off of pull-ups and smaller step-backs. Becotte showed some active hands on her steals when she pressured defenders, and she picked off a few passes by staying aware and jumping in lanes. Before Lawrence Academy, she was a 1,000-point scorer at Pelham.
Kaelyn Carroll
Tabor/Bay State Jaguars, 6-3 guard/forward
Hometown: Dedham, Mass.
There is no stopping Carroll's rise as one of the best high school prospects in the country. She recently ascended to No. 18 in ESPN's national rankings, the highest-ranking New England native since Caroline Ducharme in 2021. Her ball-handling skills at her size, her shooting prowess, and her developed strength have turned her into a special all-around player.
Carroll isn't rushing to make a decision. Per her Instagram, she has taken official visits to Villanova, Kentucky and Minnesota so far, and hasn't set a commitment date yet. Carroll has plenty of time and plenty of offers to process, but everyone in the region will be watching when she makes her choice.

Abby Congdon
Loomis Chaffee/Bay State Jaguars, 5-7 guard
Hometown: West Hartford, Conn.
Congdon won Class A Tournament MVP honors last season, helping Loomis Chaffee three-peat as champions. She's the steady hand at point guard and holds offers from Maine and Bryant. Congdon wasn't needed to score — she only averaged 9.1 points last season — but her production came from setting the table (4 assists per game) and defending the point of attack (3 steals per game). She's a quick and energetic defender, but she can also knock down spot-up 3s and attack closeouts.
Morgan Jenkins
Hotchkiss/Bay State Jaguars, 6-2 forward
Hometown: Higganum, Conn.
Jenkins was among this summer's biggest stock-risers, using a fantastic close to her AAU career to land several Division 1 mid-major offers. She'll be a dominant paint presence as a senior after racking up 18.6 points, 13.7 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.4 blocks per game last season. I'll also again cite her 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks on the Under Armour circuit to highlight her work on the interior against some tough national competition. In addition to her rebounding and shot-blocking, Jenkins rolls to the basket hard and does a nice job positioning herself for easy inside passes.
Emily Knowles
Conard/CT Starters, 5-7 guard
Hometown: West Hartford, Conn.
Knowles absolutely dominated her junior year: 24.2 points and 6 rebounds per game, with her 653 total points setting a single-season program record. She was named a CIAC Class LL All-State player and had one highlight where she scored seven points in the final 11 seconds to give Conard a 51-49 victory against Northwest Catholic. Knowles is a sharpshooter with smooth form — she made 59 threes at a 36 percent clip — and also has some crafty driving moves. She's smaller for being more of a 2-3, but she's strong with natural touch.
Christina Pham
Nobles/Shooting Touch, 5-7 guard
Hometown: South Boston, Mass.
Pham is another 2025 watch list member who remains in the decision-making process. She's got a slew of schools after her, including BC and Providence, plus other New England mid-majors (Fairfield, Rhode Island, BU, Holy Cross), Ivy League programs (Harvard, Yale) and teams outside of the region like St. John's, Tulane and Akron.
A leading candidate for best shooter in New England, Pham shined earlier this summer at the NEPSAC Scholastic Showcase. She's continually displayed more of a dynamic all-around offensive game with crafty ball-handling and difficult layups through contact. Pham's relentlessness as a scorer and playmaker should be crucial as she projects into a larger role at Nobles this winter.

Colleen Phiri
Tilton/Rivals, 5-11 forward
Hometown: Haverhill, Mass.
The third member of our watch list still undecided, Phiri was an All-NEPSAC honoree during Tilton's run to the Class AA final. With Ahnay Adams now at Miami, Phiri could lead the Rams in scoring this season. She's a more versatile scorer than she gets credit for. Despite being undersized for her play style, Phiri is a powerful post finisher and straight-line driver who has also become a prolific perimeter shooter — and she already averaged 18.6 points and 9.2 rebounds last year.
Phiri currently has a handful of mid-major offers from schools including: Holy Cross, Colgate, Merrimack, Northeastern, UNH, Le Moyne, Brown, Central Connecticut State and Albany.
