WORCESTER, Mass. — The first NEPSAC Boys Scholastic Showcase came at an interesting time this year.
The weekend came a little bit earlier than usual, and it came at a great moment for the Class of 2028. June 15 marked the beginning of the contact period for prospects who just finished their sophomore year, meaning that Division 1 coaches can directly communicate with them.
That meant the June 12-14 showcase at Worcester Academy gave coaches a perfect opportunity to get fresh eyes on those recruits and further inform who they want to reach out to. And there were plenty for them to sink their teeth into.
The 2028 class in New England is continuing to take shape with a lot of exciting prospects who are gaining recruiting steam. Here are 10 standouts from the opening NEPSAC showcase.
