Full schedule for the 2026 MIAA basketball championships

Another MIAA basketball championship weekend is here.

Over three days this weekend, from March 13-15, 10 state champions will be crowned – five each for boys and girls – at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Mass.

The action starts with Friday night’s doubleheader featuring both St. Mary’s girls and boys teams. The Medfield girls will seek their third consecutive Division 2 championship to open slate against defending D3 champion St. Mary’s, which is in its first D2 season.

Four teams — the Wachusett girls in D1, St. Mary’s girls and Medfield girls, and Georgetown boys in D4 — are seeking repeat championships. The slate also includes three 1-vs.-2 showdowns.

Friday, March 13

D2 girls: No. 1 Medfield vs. No. 3 St. Mary’s, 6:15 p.m.
D2 boys: No. 1 St. Mary’s vs. No. 3 Masconomet, 8 p.m.

Saturday, March 14

D4 girls: No. 1 Frontier Regional vs. No. 3 South Hadley, 12 p.m.
D4 boys: No. 1 Wareham vs. No. 3 Georgetown, 2 p.m.
D1 girls: No. 1 Springfield Central vs. No. 3 Wachusett, 4 p.m.
D3 boys: No. 1 Hanover vs. No. 2 Salem, 6 p.m.

Sunday, March 15

D5 girls: No. 1 Drury vs. No. 2 Hopedale, 12 p.m.
D5 boys: No. 6 Holbrook vs. No. 8 Hoosac Valley, 2 p.m.
D3 girls: No. 1 Bishop Fenwick vs. No. 2 Pittsfield, 4 p.m.
D1 boys: No. 1 Central Catholic vs. No. 14 Bishop Feehan, 6 p.m.
