It’s crazy to think that in just over a week, NEPSAC will be crowning basketball champions across its six classes.
The regular season comes to a close on Sunday, with Wednesday’s quarterfinals starting a sprint to the finish line for the championships on March 8. Over the last few weeks, teams across the region have been jockeying for playoff positioning or trying to gain important momentum heading into the postseason.
And their stars have saved their best for this time of year. All of our latest standouts play for teams that are safely in the playoff field or are on the bubble heading into the final weekend. This list includes one of the best stars in the region setting a single-game record, and a two-sport star who’s leading the way for a top team in Class B Small.
