The NEPSAC playoff brackets will be released on Sunday, March 1, which begins a hectic week that includes the quarterfinals on March 4 and semifinals on March 7 before Super Sunday on March 8, when champions will be crowned across every class.
So, what could the playoff fields look like?
With less than two weeks remaining in the regular season, there’s quite a bit to be solved as teams fight for playoff seeding and qualification. Each class will have eight teams in its playoff field, and some of the races – especially in Class AA and Class A – are both dizzying and fascinating. Every result matters over the next 10 days.
The formulas to determine the playoff fields in Class AA and below are complicated, but much of it is based on the standings and strength of schedule. This bracket projection won’t get deep into the weeds of the scenarios; instead, it will be an educated guess on the playoff fields based on the current standings and the remaining schedule.
