It’s been three weeks since our last edition of the NEPSAC boys Top 10, with most teams leaving for the holidays and winter break. We hope you got a breather, because you needed one.
The NEPSAC boys basketball season is about to switch into high gear for the next seven weeks leading into the playoffs and championship in early March. We’re diving into one of the biggest slates on the calendar this weekend, which includes New England Recruiting Report’s annual Hoophall Prep Showcase at AIC in Springfield, Mass. – the prep-specific event adjacent to the national Hoophall Classic – as well as the Andrew James Lawson Foundation Invitational at TD Garden, which will feature a marquee NEPSAC game.
Most NEPSAC teams returned to action last week, and a few surprising results adjusted our rankings. Big stages and tests await our top teams this week as they face opponents from inside and outside the region. It represents another chance for New England to show why it’s one of the best regions for basketball in the country.
