The NEPSAC boys basketball season is returning into full swing over the next week after a brief pause for winter break. The next two months are about to be wild.
Championship races in every class are about to heat up, and the remaining regular-season schedule is full of marquee matchups that could shape tournament seeding and expectations. NERR’s annual Hoophall Prep Showcase in Springfield, Mass., and the Andrew James Lawson Foundation Invitational at TD Garden both loom next weekend with big games to watch. January and February are loaded with treats for New England prep basketball.
An important scheduling note: The dates and locations for the NEPSAC boys basketball championships have been announced. The championship games will be on Sunday, March 8. Class B Small (1 p.m.), Class AAA (3:15 p.m.) and Class AA (5:30 p.m.) will be at Western New England University, while Class C (1 p.m.), Class A (3:15 p.m.) and Class B Large (5:30 p.m.) will take place at Worcester Academy.
