December marked the first week of widespread competition in NEPSAC girls basketball. So it's time to get our stars of the week off and running.
Among the early standouts are four NEPSAC transfers who have clearly acclimated well to their new teams. We also saw stellar shooting efforts and a monster 20-20 game. One note: Performances from the Girls Hoop Series Season Tip-Off are not included this week — because we already wrote about them (linked below).
Coaches and players are welcome to submit nominations by emailing Ethan Fuller at ethan.fuller@basketballjournal.com or by messaging him on Twitter/X (@ethman43).
Here are this week's stars from Dec. 1-7.
GHS SEASON TIP-OFF: 13 upperclassmen standouts | 10 underclassmen standouts
Maddie Benigni, Hamden Hall

Class of 2027, 5-5 guard
Hometown: East Hampton, Conn.
Separately from her 26-point outing at the GHS Season Tip-Off, Benigni had a massive debut week for Hamden Hall. She also dropped 30 points in the Hornets' 57-53 win against Hun School at the Slinky HS Showcase.
Kendra Foy, St. Luke’s

Class of 2027, 5-10 guard
Hometown: Bethel, Conn.
Also a NEPSAC newcomer, Foy has transitioned seamlessly onto the Storm. She posted 23 points and eight rebounds in a win over MacDuffie, then logged two 18-point, 11-rebound efforts at the Rose Classic to help beat Mount St. Charles and Holderness.
Jill Dingler, Darrow

Class of 2026, 5-7 guard
Hometown: Storrs, Conn.
Dingler, one of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in NEPSAC, opened her senior year with 24 points and three assists to help the Ducks roll past Winchendon, 84-27.
Brooke Lilley, Darrow

Class of 2027, 5-7 guard
Hometown: Guilderland Center, N.Y.
Lilley erupted for 32 points, powered by eight 3-pointers, to lead Darrow in a 99-34 rout of Stony Brook at the Rose Classic. She also tallied 13 points and six assists against Winchendon.
Cassidy Mullin, Thayer
Class of 2026, 5-8 guard
Hometown: Quincy, Mass.
The Tigers started their season strong with a 56-32 win against Dana Hall, led by Mullin's 23 points.
Lucianna Parrotta, Sacred Heart

Class of 2027, 6-0 guard/forward
Hometown: Armonk, N.Y.
With 29 points and seven rebounds, Parrotta helped steer Sacred Heart to a commanding, 72-30 victory against Hotchkiss in their season opener.
London Powell, Greens Farms

Class of 2027, 5-7 guard
Hometown: Milford, Conn.
Powell got her season started with a 19-point, 12-rebound double-double, leading Greens Farms to a 57-38 win against Miss Porter's on Wednesday.
Sammi Santacroce, Suffield

Class of 2027, 5-7 guard
Hometown: North Haven, Conn.
Santacroce caught fire at the Rose Classic with four 3s made in each contest. That sparked 21-point and 23-point efforts to help the Tigers beat Holderness and Rivers.
Jules Stevenson, Phillips Andover

Class of 2028, 5-5 guard
Hometown: Beverly, Mass.
After a strong freshman season, Stevenson has picked up where she left off. She scored 31 points against Kents Hill and 24 points against Pomfret, leading Phillips Andover in a 2-0 week.
Autumn Udoh, MacDuffie

Class of 2027, 6-0 forward
Hometown: Bristol, Conn.
Udoh laid down a historic double-double performance in MacDuffie's road win against Storm King, with 28 points and a program record 20 rebounds. She's another NEPSAC transfer making an immediate impact.
