The NEPSAC girls basketball season officially tipped off almost a month ago. But now, after most teams made their debuts this season, we have enough of a same to update our Top 10.
Class AAA has asserted its dominance over New England so far. Six of the eight schools rank in our Top 10, including five AAA members occupying the first five slots. We also have two Class AA members and a Class A school making its season debut.
This can be a tricky time to assess teams. One school has played six games already — all outside of NEPSAC. Another has yet to take the floor. But we've also seen some heavyweight matchups within the region that set an early measuring stick.
