With the overhauling of NEPSAC girls basketball's lower classes, the new Class B Small should be one of the more intriguing divisions to watch this winter.
The class includes several notable programs from the previous Class C, including champion Hamden Hall, runner-up Kimball Union and regular contender Holderness. But it also brings in some former members of the giant Class B — including interesting sleepers like Mount St. Charles, Cushing and more.
Though B Small doesn't have the same stature or size of some higher NEPSAC classes, it still contains some Division 1 college talent and plenty of future Div. 2 and 3 players. The new nature of the class also primes it for some breakout stars.
Here are 10 names I'm keeping an eye on as the season gets underway.
