This NEPSAC girls Class A season should feature a plethora of new stars.
Eight of our 10 All-Class A honorees from last year are no longer in the class, including our Player of the Year, Alicia Mitchell (now at Columbia). Only two return, and they both suit up for Sacred Heart.
With powerhouse Loomis Chaffee undergoing significant roster turnover, the Pelicans will have new leaders in the hunt for a fifth consecutive championship. For the rest of Class A, now's their time to strike with the talent they've added or developed during the offseason.
