Our inaugural NEPSAC boys basketball coaches’ survey aimed to get a pulse for the state of the league, its top players and teams entering the 2025-26 season and let coaches express any concerns they have – and do so freely in an anonymous manner.
Boy, did they deliver.
We had more than two dozen responses from coaches at every level of NEPSAC, and I appreciated the detail and thought they all put into the questions. If you missed it, Part 1 of the survey focused on the best players, including every position, as well as the most underrated players in NEPSAC. Part 2 centered on the best teams and squads with breakout potential this upcoming winter. We broadened the scope for Part 3, giving coaches the platform to voice their thoughts on recruiting and what rule changes they’d recommend for the league.
As open gyms begin around the region, I think this serves as a great appetizer for the upcoming season. We wrap up our survey with Part 4, where we asked coaches what excites and concerns them most about the future of NEPSAC.
