Before we know it, the NEPSAC season will be here.
Schools have returned to session and open gyms are about to get underway as teams across New England are getting ready for a long winter, which they hope will end with championship glory. Champions are looking to defend their crown, while others are hoping to knock down the door.
Player movement over the last few months has been dizzying; there have been dozens of transfers from both inside and outside the region, and several big stars have left for college. The new-look rosters will make championship races fascinating, but there will be a natural edge for some of the schools that are bringing back returners.
As the calendar shifts towards the prep season, here are 10 teams I’m excited to watch for the 2025-26 NEPSAC boys basketball season.
