The boys grassroots season is hitting its stretch run.
The next two weekends will wrap up the 2025 campaign, which aligns with the final two live evaluation periods of the summer, spanning July 10-13 and July 17-20. It’s the last chance for Division 1 college coaches to scout recruits in person until September. These two weekends define a critical juncture of prospects’ recruitment, especially those from the 2026 class.
For clubs, a spring full of travel and dozens of games lead to these two weekends for their respective circuit championships. For most circuits, the first live period this weekend will include the final regular season games to determine seeding for the circuit championship bracket the following weekend. The Adidas circuit is an exception; their championships are this weekend with the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championships in Rock Hill, S.C., before the final weekend takes place in Ladera Ranch, Calif.
New England recruits and AAU programs will be traveling all over the country the next two weekends in pursuit of scholarship offers and championship glory, and there’s a lot to keep track of locally across several circuits.
