GREENWICH, Conn. — This New England girls 2027 class has put together quite the collective summer breakout.
The New England Girls Scholastic Showcase at Greenwich Country Day last week was the latest shining example. Many of the players I've watched rise up throughout the grassroots season continued to shine with their prep school teams. Some new names also popped to me, and on the whole the depth of this class, especially among guards and wings, is better than I initially thought.
I attended the Scholastic Showcase for Thursday and most of Friday's action. I didn't get to see every team (I detailed this more in our 2026 standouts), but I tried to catch as many schools as I could and packed my Notes app with observations.
