There’s little rest for the top basketball players in the region.
Once one season ends, another begins. After the prep school season closed in mid-March, it was right back to work for recruits around New England as they started preparation with their AAU teams for the spring and summer, with training camps quickly making way for regional and national tournaments through July.
For the 2026 class, this marks their final AAU season, making it an important spring and summer of exposure as they look to boost their college recruitment and pile up offers with the hope of committing sometime in the fall or winter.
As the grassroots season begins, I identified 10 prospects from New England’s 2026 class whose recruitment could see a big spike this spring and summer. Take note that this is not a top prospects list; I did not include Abdou Toure or Sebastian Wilkins, who are both universally regarded as Top 50 players and each hold a handful of high-major offers.
Here are some names I’m watching.
