While most of the NEPSAC boys Class AA field has been known for weeks, there was still some uncertainty going into selection weekend, with essentially two playoff spots up for grabs.
On Sunday afternoon, the drama concluded with the bracket reveal – Wilbraham & Monson and Lawrence Academy are dancing.
Cushing earned the top seed in the bracket, and the Penguins lead a loaded Class AA playoff field that includes some juicy first-round matchups. The eight teams in the tournament are each vying to become a new class champion following reigning champion Bradford Christian’s departure. Last season’s runner-up, Brimmer & May, just missed this season’s field.
