We're barely a week away from the reveal of the NEPSAC postseason brackets, and I wanted to get one more look at two teams I'm watching with upset potential in Class AAA.
Hoosac made the trek east to play Dexter Southfield on Friday, earning a 65-49 victory behind a brilliant performance from Anna Moser. They're a team that might not get a high playoff seed, but any AAA opponent should take them extremely seriously with their backcourt firepower and versatile offense.
Dexter was shorthanded, missing star Ella Peper due to a minor injury, and only had eight active players. Hoosac blew the game open early, leading 40-22. but Dexter fought to keep it competitive and cut the cap to 46-36 in the third quarter. That was as close as they'd get.
Here are five standouts from the afternoon.
