Due to a shortened week leading up to Saturday’s state tournament bracket reveal, we decided to extend the final MIAA 5 Stars of the Week to include games from the final 11 days of the regular season to give us a smooth runway heading into the playoffs.
It made choosing this week’s standouts that much harder.
There were a lot of performances to choose from throughout the state, from players shining at February vacation tournaments to seniors looking to cap their careers with a bang. One of them was almost impossible to believe.
While this is the final 5 Stars of the Week in MIAA this winter, be on the lookout for plenty of postseason coverage, beginning with Saturday’s bracket reveal.
