BOSTON, Mass. — We learn a lot about the top MIAA teams when they gear up for February break tournaments.
It's the last chance to make an impression before the state postseason, and every team wants to be hitting their stride.
My spot for the week was Emmanuel College for the Board 27 Comcast Tournament. I watched five of our top eight ranked squads face off as part of the eight girls teams in attendance. Some results played out as I predicted — but to be honest, a few left me surprised.
Here are my five biggest takeaways from a team perspective, which will help shape my understanding of the playoff picture.
