For the first time this winter, we have a new school atop our NEPSAC girls rankings.
Nobles made a loud statement with its convincing home win against Tabor last Wednesday. The Bulldogs and Seawolves have split the head-to-head series, but the way the Bulldogs owned the game – plus the fact they haven't lost to anyone else — makes them a deserving No. 1 team.
Elsewhere in the rankings, Loomis Chaffee continues to stifle opponents and earn some upward movement. And Dexter Southfield grabbed a big Class AAA victory to keep it name in rotation at the end of the rankings.
