Two of New England's brightest basketball stars received one of the highest honors in high school hoops on Monday.
AJ Dybantsa (Brockton, Mass.) and Kaelyn Carroll (Dedham, Mass.) earned roster spots for the prestigious McDonald's All-American Game.
Dybantsa follows Cooper Flagg (Newport, Maine) as New Englanders to make the rosters in back-to-back years. Before them, the last New England boy to reach the All-American Game was the late Terrence Clarke (Roslindale, Mass.) in 2020. Carroll, meanwhile, is the first New England native to make the girls rosters since Caroline Ducharme (Milton, Mass.) in 2021.
Both the boys and girls games will take place in Brooklyn, N.Y. at the Barclays Center on April 1.
