With 16 schools to choose from, the first Class AA preseason team was a bear to narrow down to five players.
There are several studs among the headlining teams in the class, but the division is deep, with emerging stars on some squads that may be considered overlooked.
Class AA said goodbye to Bradford Christian after the program shut down following its title last season. There were five players from that school who were named All-NEPSAC, but even with their departures, the class returns and welcomes so much talent. Shooters, scorers and playmakers are the theme of this squad, and they represent a truly exciting division that should produce must-see basketball this winter. They’re all looking to prove themselves in the chase to be crowned a new champion in March.
Take note that, just like the other preseason teams, selecting this squad was not based on college potential. Individual talent, proven success and winning impact at this level were the main factors. There are many deserving names, but here are our picks for the Class AA boys preseason team for this season.
