Picking five players for our preseason All-New England team was an excruciating task.
There is so much talent in this area right now, particularly in the senior class. You could reasonably sub in a handful of different players and still have a valid list. But after much thought, these five stars will likely have the greatest impact on their teams this winter season.
To be clear, we are not selecting the five best prospects in New England here. College potential was not taken into account. These five are certainly among the best prospects in the region, but talent, proven production and ability to win at the highest levels all factored into our picks.
