Last weekend, national AAU circuits around the country held their championship tournaments, and several New England squads shined.
MCW Starz reached the championship game of the Select Events Power 24 17U bracket, setting a new standard after reaching the quarterfinals in Select's championship tournament last year. Connecticut-based iDream also earned a berth in the finals of the Hoop Group Showcase League 17U championship bracket.
At Nike Nationals, the Mass Huskies 16U team earned the top seed in their EYCL Platinum bracket, while the Honey Badgers, in their final summer as a program, made the 17U EYCL Platinum field.
